FDIC has always been one of our favorite events to attend, and this year is no different. Last year, we unveiled our 50th anniversary demo Pumper and Aerial, as well as a recently delivered Rescue unit for the Sugar Creek Township Fire Department. We’re always excited to show off the new features and innovations that we’ve added to our apparatus arsenal, and this year we have something even more impressive to unveil at Booth 3247.
Introducing the Marion RPM – PF
With today’s fire service seeing a shift toward more multifunctional apparatus, our new RPM – PF (pump forward) is the most comfortable and technologically advanced RPM we’ve ever built.- Built on a Spartan Gladiator chassis, we’ve increased the capacity for maximum riding comfort, including the lowest possible engine tunnel offering and angled crew seats in an ELFD cab – making it the largest 6-man cab offering on the market!
- We’ve placed controls under forward-facing crew seats and eliminated any connections, drains, and storage capacity loss found in all other competitive offerings in the Rescue Pumper market
- With a 196” wheel base, 116” height, and 32’ length, the RPM – PF is easily maneuverable and well-balanced
- In addition to the 750-gallon water tank, 1,500-GPM Hale pump, 20-gallon foam tank, Hale FoamLogix foam system, and full hosebed, this engine also features 9 full-depth storage compartments already configured for equipment - not to mention a Harrison 10KW IHT-ready generator capable of powering hydraulic rescue tools
- The RPM – PF also stores cascade bottles out of storage compartments, offers a built-in light tower, transverse storage for stokes and long boards, as well as an innovative shadow system for tool mounting
- To help maximize storage capacity, the pump house is fully hidden, with no loss of compartment storage behind the cab. The RPM – PF also features a fully-electronic SIM-PLEX touch screen pump and control panel, along with a Voyager rear view camera
