Production Control Assistant

Marion Body Works has an opening for a production control assistant. This position requires a person who has the ability to operate within a fast paced manufacturing environment. Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills are required.

Responsibilities will include customer and shop order creation, scheduling functions, corrective action activities, and manufacturing support. The candidate must be a proficient user of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

PRODUCTION MANAGERS

Marion Body Works is a stable, diverse, family-owned and operated, 102-year old manufacturer of truck bodies including: fire apparatus, van bodies, military bodies and truck cabs. We are currently looking for two management positions.

The successful candidate for either position must be a self-starter, have above average communication skills, good problem-solving skills, & work well with other team members as well as suppliers and customers. The candidate must also be able to provide leadership, organization, and growth to a production department so as to maximize quality and productivity.

FABRICATION PRODUCTION MANAGER

In addition to management experience, a background with a working knowledge of various sheet material and machining fabrication processes is essential, and the understanding of ISO 9001 and Lean principles is beneficial. This is an excellent opportunity within a fast-paced, growing, and profitable manufacturing environment.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT / PAINT PRODUCTION MANAGER

Responsibilities include leading and implementing Lean activities, improving Quality programs, and assisting with ensuring employees are trained in the standard work aspects of their jobs. Also responsible for the scheduling and management of our Paint department. This person acts as a key contact for both internal and external customers and suppliers on all continuous improvement related issues and topics.
