MBW Raises $8,920 to Support Local Kids and Charities
Marion, WI – April 2025 — This past holiday season, Marion Body Works (MBW) employees came together to give back through two meaningful initiatives: our annual Christmas for Kids program and a PTO raffle fundraiser. Together with a company match, these efforts raised a total of $8,920 for children and local charities.
Christmas for Kids
Each year, the MBW Employee Engagement team works with nearby schools to identify children in need during the holidays. For the 2024 holiday season, MBW was able to provide gifts to 36 children. Gift tags are created anonymously based on each child’s age, clothing sizes, and interests. Employees can shop for gifts or donate money toward a tag.
PTO Raffle & Charitable Giving
Held throughout the holiday season, the PTO raffle gives employees the chance to win extra time off while supporting a great cause. The event raised $4,460, which MBW matched for a total of $8,920. After covering any leftover Christmas gift costs, the remaining $8,034.20 was distributed evenly across six local organizations:
- Clintonville Area Food Pantry
- Compassionate Connections
- Mama’s House of Hope
- Shawano Area Food Pantry
- SaM25
- Tigerton Food Pantry
Each group received approximately $1,339 in support.
“These efforts reflect the heart of MBW,” said President Kevin Ignacio “Our team is always ready to step up for the community and the holiday season is a great time to do so.”
