Shawano, WI. – Marion Body Works has been named Manufacturer of the year by The Shawano County Chamber of Commerce. The company was awarded for their hard work and dedication over the past 119 years at the Annual Shawano Country Chamber Banquet.

Since 1905, Marion has proudly remained a family-owned and operated business, within the community of Marion, WI.  In 2022, they added an additional manufacturing facility in Shawano, WI. “Our focus has always been the quality of our product, as well as our customers,” said President Kevin Ignacio. “Our employees are dedicated to providing our customers with the best experience and product- our success feeds off that. We have a great team that pushes past any challenges to ensure the customer’s satisfaction.” Marion specializes and manufactures Fire & Emergency Apparatus, Commercial Truck Bodies, Aluminum Custom Cabs, Custom Engineered Vehicles, and Defense Products for customers across the country and Canada. 

As Marion continues to expand, they have proudly opened a new manufacturing facility in Shawano, marking a significant milestone in their growth journey. The added production space has not only brought jobs to the community but has also given support for the growing Shawano community. “One of our most significant issues industry wide are lead times,” Ignacio said. “In order to help accommodate orders, we opened the second production facility in Shawano and invested into making sure the building could accommodate these high production numbers.” Additionally, Marion will be adding a fourth shift to their employment hours to ensure less lead times for their customers.
