Marion Body Works is proud to welcome nine interns across four departments for the 2021 Summer Internship Program.
Returning to Marion’s engineering department for a third summer is Bridget Streicher (Michigan Tech – Mechanical Engineering). Joining Bridget in engineering is Seth Korb (UW-Platteville – Mechanical Engineering), Jacob Barnick (UW-Platville – Industrial Technology Management), Elijah Etten (UW-Oshkosh – Mechanical Engineering), and Ryan Genskow (Clintonville High School). The accounting department welcomes Tanner Schelvan (UW-Stevens Point – Accounting), and Cameron Prailes (Recent Graduate of UW-Green Bay – Accounting and Business Administration). Kyle Allen (UW-Stout, Supply Chain Management) will assist the purchasing department and Lasia Vang (UW-Stout – Information and Communication Technologies) rounds out the group as the IT intern.
Throughout the summer, interns will gain valuable skills and experience as they work alongside employees within their respective departments. Along with gaining knowledge in their field, interns will be challenged and encouraged to explore different areas of the business through Lunch & Learn opportunities, collaborative projects, and events. They will wrap up the summer with presentations highlighting their experience to the Marion Body Works Leadership Team. MBW is committed to engaging these young professionals in their pursuit to rewarding careers. It is part of the initiative to provide a place of learning, and ultimately an exceptional place of employment, to the next generation.
