MBW: Our Year in Review

2018 is far from short of milestone moments for Marion Body Works. The success seen coming from growth, increased production, and more international orders. Without the dedication and support of our staff, customers and stakeholders, along with their contributions, MBW's success wouldn't merely be so big.

A sullen yet proud moment fell over MBW at the beginning of the year with Bud Simpson's dedication ceremony in place. As a patriarch to the company and a soul driving the spirit still to this day, the news of his passing was taken hard by all. We are grateful for the many ways to celebrate and remember Bud for his wisdom, work and pursuit in Marion throughout the main office.

2018 highlights at a glance:

Peru Group Shot
  • Marion honored as Navistar Diamond Supplier.
  • Deliveries of military truck bodies to Peru and custom fire trucks to the country of Costa Rica.
  • Increased production of apparatus, defense contracted vehicles, and commercial fleets nationwide.

  • MBW growth to 300 employees.
  • Continued growth in Defense and Fire & Emergency orders

jim retirement
  • Retirement of Jim Krueger for over 50 years of work at Marion.
  • Assisting the community in a variety of fundraising efforts towards the local food pantries, schools, and nonprofits.

Thank you to all who've helped create opportunities for and cultivate success at Marion Body Works in 2018. We look forward to what 2019 has in store for the company!!
